When you hear the word passion used it is generally in the context of career. If people are unhappy at their job they are often advised to find something they are “passionate” about and use that as a guide to change their career path. When our jobs no longer stimulate us we will say that the honeymoon is over or the passion is gone. There is a quote that states find something you love doing and you will never work a day in your life. There is no doubt that being passionate about your career makes life a whole lot easier but when did we put the importance of passion for our work as a priority over the passion for others?
